HAREAK
Located in Bayonne, this newly built penthouse apartment underwent a complete interior design transformation.
The original layout lacked interior structuring and created a sense of lost space. To meet the owners’ architectural brief, a precise reconfiguration of partitions allowed for an overall optimization of volumes, while creating the necessary space for bespoke furniture.
The redesigned entrance now features an expansive built-in dressing area, along with a custom unit incorporating a bench dedicated entirely to shoe storage. The apartment opens onto a spacious living and dining area with a fully integrated kitchen and central island. The connection to the outdoors is striking, with large floor-to-ceiling windows providing seamless access to an expansive terrace that runs along the length of the apartment.
An acoustic door has been installed to clearly separate and insulate the sleeping quarters from the living space. A flexible room has also been created, easily transitioning from office to bedroom thanks to a custom-built bookcase unit that conceals a foldaway bed.
The night area is completed by a guest bedroom, a bathroom incorporating a laundry space, and a master suite featuring a bespoke dressing room and en-suite bathroom.
A palette of natural tones enhances the wood elements used throughout the custom furniture and flooring. The selection of noble, timeless materials brings harmony and coherence to the entire apartment.
This interior architecture project reflects a bespoke approach where every detail matters, thoughtfully designed to meet the everyday needs of its owners.
