ARGI
This 1970s apartment, located in the center of Biarritz, underwent a complete renovation.
The typical interior of that era revealed an outdated layout with excessive partitioning. The renovation aimed to restructure, harmonize, and modernize all spaces.
The new layout relocates the kitchen to the center of the apartment, adjacent to the original living room. This configuration provides the owners with a spacious, comfortable, and light-filled area for everyday living and entertaining. The former kitchen has been transformed into a guest bedroom, separated from the rest of the apartment by an invisible pocket door. This guest space is fully self-contained, with the addition of an en-suite bathroom and separate toilet. Every square meter has been optimized, and a bespoke unit conceals a fully equipped laundry area with ample storage.
The former bedrooms have been combined to create a grand master suite, complete with an independent dressing room and a fully equipped bathroom. An office space opening onto a terrace has also been designed.
Natural light is enhanced by the installation of solid oak flooring painted white, an aesthetic choice made by the owners that reflects the seaside spirit of Biarritz.
This interior renovation responds to the owners’ lifestyle needs through a complete reconfiguration of the space, while respecting the existing structure.
