FLOQUET
Located in the heart of Biarritz, this 140 sqm commercial space is undergoing a major renovation.
Housed in a former automotive garage, the project involves transforming the space into offices with an interior design showroom. Raw, shallow yet elongated, the space acts as a blank canvas. Its simple geometry and large street-facing openings are key assets, allowing the architectural program to be clearly structured.
On the street side, the permeability of the space is enhanced through the installation of large glass windows, inviting both natural light and the gaze of passersby into the interior.
Inside, the layout divides the space into two distinct areas: a showroom at the front and office spaces at the rear. These two functions coexist harmoniously, with their separation visually emphasized through a thoughtful treatment of flooring and ceilings.
The showroom area, designed and sequenced like a true apartment, features beige polished concrete flooring and maintains its full ceiling height thanks to an exposed technical ceiling. Beyond its practicality, the polished concrete highlights the interior layouts, bespoke furniture, and decorative elements.
The office areas are more intimate, with solid oak flooring and suspended ceilings concealing air conditioning and electrical systems. Large, finely framed glass partitions allow natural light to flow throughout the space. An invisible central core houses the kitchen and sanitary facilities.
Rooted in a timeless and warm aesthetic, the interior architecture immerses future clients in an environment where projecting themselves becomes effortless.
